The Miracle of His birth
December 2, 2025, 11:27 AM

As we approach Christmas, we pause to remember the incredible gift God gave to the world: His Son, Jesus Christ. Born in a humble stable in Bethlehem, wrapped in swaddling clothes, the Savior of the world entered our broken and messy lives with a message of hope, love, and redemption.

In Luke 2:10–11, the angel proclaimed to the shepherds:

“Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”

The birth of Christ reminds us that God does not wait for the perfect moment or the perfect people. He enters our world—our daily routines, our struggles, and our hearts—with His presence and His promises. Jesus came not in glory or grandeur, but in humility, teaching us that God’s ways are often contrary to the world’s expectations.

This Christmas, let us reflect on the miracle of His arrival:

  • God’s love reaching down to us in our ordinary, ordinary lives.

  • God’s light shining in the darkness, bringing hope to the hopeless.

  • God’s promise of salvation, fulfilled in the child who is King.

As we celebrate with family, friends, and our church family, may we also invite Christ to be born anew in our hearts. Let us respond with worship, gratitude, and a desire to share the joy and peace that only He can give.
